Robbie Button has passed away suddenly. He has been a long term member of the Howrah Bowls Club, and we will miss him. We have great memories of his enthusiasm for playing bowls and enjoying many friendships at the club.

 Our condolences to Donna and family.

BPL CUP    Congratulations to our Howrah Team who have won through to the Tasmanian Final of The BPL Cup. Danny Neal Matthew Gregg and Peter Jenkins. The BPL Cup provides an opportunity for club-based teams to progress through various rounds to National Finals, to be played in parallel with the November leg of the BPL at Club Pine Rivers, Queensland. 2022 BPL Cup Final Highlights

 AUSTRALIAN OPEN Well done to all members who travelled to the Gold Coast and participated in the Australian Open. 18 members: per capita ; the best represented club at the Open!

STATE TITLE Congratulations to Denise Tanner winner of the Tasmanian State Indoor  Championships held in Burnie last Saturday. A State Title Holder! Doesn't happen very often!!!!

MEDICAL EMERGENCY In light of the recent medical emergency at the club, this  a reminder about filling in the medical card, and leaving it in your bowls bag.  The cards are available from the front reception desk in the IBC.

Southern Mixed Fours Well done to Denise Tanner and Danny Neal who made the Grand Final of the Southern Mixed Fours played at Howrah on Monday night. And well done to the supporters who came and cheered them on!
