FINALS APPROACHING
Howrah Thursday Premier Division defeated Glenorchy Rodman – off to the Grand final at Rosny on Thursday March 26 th .
Howrah Thursday Division 1 defeated Sandy Bay – off to the Grand final at Rosny on Thursday March 26 th.
Men's Wednesday Midweek Division 1 are still on top of the ladder but there are 2 weeks to go before finals.
BOWLING PAUSE
There is no Midweek (Wednesday) Pennant scheduled for March 11, 2026.The primary reason for this break is the which is Bowls Tasmania Gala Week taking place on the North-West Coast during early to mid-March.
Gala Week Priority: The Bowls Tasmania Gala Week is a major state-wide event. During this time, regional pennant competitions typically pause to allow players to travel and compete in state championships.
Public Holiday Factor: While March 11 itself isn't a holiday, Monday, March 9, 2026, is the Eight Hours Day public holiday in Tasmania. This often creates a "long weekend" effect where scheduling for the rest of the week is adjusted to accommodate travel for state events.
